Unlike Belbin or DISC, all items are public domain and the entire methodology is published and citable.

Yes — every instrument is free, and stays free. New Moon Cèrcol (10 items, Big Five snapshot) and First Quarter Cèrcol (60 items, IPIP-NEO-60, 30 facets) need no account. Full Moon Cèrcol (120 items, IPIP-NEO-120, plus the Witness peer assessment) and the Last Quarter team report are also free; they require a free account because results and Witness invitations have to belong to someone. If Cèrcol ever charges for anything, it will be optional administrative conveniences for organizations, announced in advance — never the assessments, and never something that is free today.

Witness Cèrcol is a peer personality assessment where someone who knows you well rates you using a forced-choice adjective selection method — in each of 13 rounds they see five adjectives, one per OCEAN dimension, and pick the best fit, the second-best fit and the worst fit. Forced choice reduces the social desirability bias that affects standard Likert-scale peer ratings. Dimensions where your self-rating and peer ratings diverge by more than 0.8 standard deviations are flagged as potential blind spots.

New Moon and First Quarter require no account: no personal data is collected during assessment, only anonymous scores are logged. Full Moon and team features need a free account so results and Witness invitations belong to you. Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure (Workers and D1, EU jurisdiction applies as documented in the privacy policy). No third-party analytics. No data is shared with or sold to third parties.
